How we use your information

The information we hold will be used solely in relation to the loan you have with us.

If you give us false or inaccurate, information and we suspect or identify fraud we will record this and may also pass this information to Fraud Prevention Agencies and other organisations involved in crime and fraud prevention.

If you have borrowed from us and do not make payments that you owe us, we will trace your whereabouts and recover debts.

Your data will not be used for any other purposes unless required by law or where permitted under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998.

You have a right to receive a copy of the information we hold about you if you apply to us in writing. A fee of £10.00 will be payable.

Marketing

We will not use your personal data for marketing purposes, neither will be pass it on to other parties for these purposes.

We will store the information we hold about you on computer and in other records. We will use your information in accordance with the principles of the Data Protection Act, including data security requirements.  We will only use this information for the purposes registered under the Data Protection Act.

Card payment security and storage

If we take a payment by card from you, your personal and card details are protected using data encryption methods when we process and transmit the card payment using a secure internet portal.

We do not store your credit/debit card details. This information is processed securely by Paypoint and First Data Merchant Services who are our payment gateway provider and merchant services provider.

Cookies and log files

When someone visits our website, we collect standard internet log information and details of visitors’ behaviour. We store information that we collect through cookies and log files (see below). We do not share your profile or personally identifiable information with any third party. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to various parts of the site and where they came from and where they exited to improve the site.

Once you are in receipt of our final response or if we have failed to respond within 8 weeks you may refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
